I'm Carla.

I'm a Spanish linguist and language teacher from Spain with over eight years of experience helping international students improve their Spanish.

I studied Translation and Interpreting at the Complutense University of Madrid, which gave me a deep understanding of how languages work. This, combined with years of teaching Spanish, learning several languages myself, and living abroad, has convinced me that the best way to learn a language isn't by memorising rules—it's through authentic conversations, immersive experiences, and everyday life.

That's why I created Casalingo: combining the best of structured Spanish lessons with real conversations, local culture, and immersive experiences in one of Spain's most beautiful destinations: Tenerife.

My goal isn't just to help you improve your Spanish—it's to help you use it with confidence.
